About
Laurel joined Saint Francis Foundation’s team in 2024. The Foundations’ commitment to innovative healthcare practices is what drew Laurel to this work. Previously, she spent close to seven years at Beyond Differences, a nonprofit focused on ending social isolation and providing mental health resources to youth nationwide. Her work there focused mainly on finance, operations, administration and human resources. Previous to working in nonprofits, she worked in international education for six years.
Laurel has a master’s in public administration from University of San Francisco and two bachelor’s degrees from Dominican University of California in business/accounting and in political science. She has a deep sense of purpose for pursuing education and is an avid learner.
Outside of work, you can find her advocating for women and under-represented populations. Her commitment to healthcare access and politics is where her passion truly lies. She has been an active big sister in Big Brothers Big Sisters for three years. She and her husband live in Marin County.
